Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist- Cannabis

You will be responsible for reviewing all incoming orders, issuing and sending customer invoices, processing payments, and managing all customer accounts, including collecting past due balances. The successful candidate will have solid foundation accounting and collections knowledge and a customer service attitude.

Note: This is a 3 month temp-to-hire contract assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and send daily & monthly invoices for completed orders
  • Schedule, process & post cash payments
  • Issue credit memos and account adjustments
  • Regularly collect outstanding customer balances, maintaining a clean Accounts Receivable aging report
  • Make outbound collection calls
  • Handle account discrepancies
  • Reconcile and report daily transactional activity
  • Update daily sales reports
  • Reconcile month-end revenue balances between the GL and subledger system
  • Maintain customer account information and set up new accounts and products as needed

Requirements:

  • 3+ years with full-cycle accounts receivable and collections experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel (formulas) skills
  • Working knowledge Encompass, Salesforce, SAP or similar software.
  • Must have working experience with an integrated general ledger or ERP system
  • Must be detail-orientated in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written to interface with the outside customers and our internal team members
  • Past experience or interest in working in the cannabis industry
