We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Bookkeeper to join our fast-growing team. We offer flexible working hours and a casual environment.

Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Bookkeeper is responsible for managing bookkeeping and accounts payable. They are excited to lend their accounting expertise to our passionate team to help foster a culture of fun and effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform the day to day processing of AP transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
  • Prepare invoices for payment by coding them to ledger accounts as per purchase order requirements and supervisor’s instructions.
  • Sorting and filing documents and invoices to ensure proper record keeping.
  • Complete the monthly bank reconciliation processes for multiple accounts.
  • Assist with year-end preparations for annual filings.
  • Ad-hoc admin duties as required.

Skill requirements:

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Access etc.).
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Superior organization and time management skills.
  • Quick learner and eager to expand knowledge.
  • Discretion when dealing with confidential information.
  • Ability to work both independently, with little supervision and within a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and adapt to a fast paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in QuickBooks is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must be local to the Edmonton Area.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2 year college diploma in a related field.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to engage with a computer screen for long periods of time.
  • Able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work from home if necessary (this position is not remote and is delivered primarily on-site).

The right individual will be hands-on, process-based, love structure and enjoy a fast pace start-up atmosphere. This role will report directly into the Chief Operations Officer and work out of our Farmington Hills office.</p><p><b>Duties and Responsibilities: </b></p><p>- Develop an understanding of Pincanna products and processes used to increase wholesale market share.</p><p>- Partner with Fulfillment and secure transport providers to schedule wholesale order deliveries and communicate with customers.</p><p>- Review all Sales Invoices and Metrc Manifests to ensure accuracy.</p><p>- Manage live inventory (Google sheet, Leaflink) to ensure accuracy and appropriate inventory levels to exceed wholesale revenue forecast.</p><p>- Update CRM system in unison with sales team to track lead and lag indicators.</p><p>- Organize display kits, vendor day kits, merchandising pieces, and marketing assets for the sales team.</p><p>- Create and manage Mailchimp to effectively share our wholesale inventory with customers and bring awareness to new products within our portfolio.</p><p>- Effectively resolve any customer complaints in partnership with the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.</p><p>- Actively seek for opportunities to improve the order to payment process in conjunction with Sales, Operations, and Finance.</p><p>- Other Job duties as assigned.</p><p>Qualifications and Requirements:</p><p>- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate or Bachelor degree in business or marketing preferred.</p><p>- Experience working in the cannabis industry is a strong plus.</p><p>- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and organize next steps.</p><p>- Excellent communications skills, organization, and attention to detail.</p><p>- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office required</p><p>- Must be able to frequently move up to 100 pounds.</p><p>- Must be
