Our client, a multi-entity cannabis company, is looking for an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for all the accounting functions and tax planning for 280e in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily accounting transactions in Quickbooks

• Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly closing of the books

• Prepare financial statements Monthly, Quarterly and Annually

• Establish Accounting control policies and procedures

• Cash management, cash flow reporting, and budgeting

• Set up vendors and process weekly accounts payables, while reviewing invoices for consistency and within budget

• Developing financial models for decision making

• Processing weekly Accounts Receivable

• Cost accounting and Inventory Management

• Act as liaison to the external CPA to file taxes and finalize tax returns

• General HR responsibilities such as onboarding and payroll

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• 5+ years' progressive accounting experience

• Expert level QuickBooks Pro and Excel skills

• Previous Cannabis accounting and 280E

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and able to work independently or as a member of a team

Compensation: $80-90k plus benefits
