About the Role

We are looking for a Key Accounts Manager to join our team! Reporting to the Sr Director of Store Partnerships, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the sales strategy for corporate and franchise licensed retail operators in Ontario. As Key Accounts Manager, you will use your strategic mindset to develop and execute key account strategies that deliver key business solutions that are advantageous to both the consumer and OCS. Working closely with the retailer, the key account manager will expand relationships with our customer and drive purposeful account objectives that align with both retailer and OCS priorities.

As the Key Account Manager, you will meet with key stakeholders frequently to manage customer expectations, maximize revenue of existing accounts, source opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be focused on growing the corporate and franchise business through licensed retailers, working collaboratively to problem solve issues and build strong, lasting relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize strategic relationship management skills and knowledge of business to shape an evolving industry.

About Your Day

• Develop, maintain, and execute on a systematic client relationship program that provides ongoing value to corporate and franchise customers.

• Develop annual customer plan to achieve annual volume, profit and share targets with specific retailers

• Meet with customer and industry stakeholders to develop strategic plans that meet their business plan and revenue forecast.

• Proactive identification and communication of the potential gaps and possible short term and long-term solutions

• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis

• Ongoing analysis against business performance to drive incremental growth opportunities and visibility to current state

• Prepare presentations, business reviews, and sales reports that identify areas for improvement and business opportunities

• Monitor stock levels and produce forecasts, reporting & tracking monthly

• Gather and communicate competitive factors impacting the business (i.e. new competitive items, competitive promotions, etc.)

• Enable flawless execution of customer plans via regular, effective, and timely information sharing/communication.

• Collaborating closely with internal team bringing forth meaningful and targeted information, programs and intelligence that will in-turn deliver profitable sales volume growth and overall customer satisfaction.

About You

• Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration or Commerce or relevant field of study

• Ability to develop and execute strategic, fact based annual business plans and develop creative solutions to challenges

• Strong strategic thinking skills, able to see connections in data and trends

• 3-5 years of sales experience in consumer-packaged goods with demonstrated experience overseeing national and key accounts

• Ability to work in ambiguous environment and establish new path and processes

• Proven success gaining cross-functional alignment to drive project support.

• Solid project/time management capabilities and multi-tasking skill sets required

• Able to assess a business delivery model and identify where opportunities exist to make it more efficient and effective.

• Able to take high level strategic ideas and operationalize them into well thought out marketplace action plans

• Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
