Job Description

Quality Assurance Inspector (Day or Evening Shift)

Under the supervision of the Senior Quality Control and Assurance Director, the Quality Assurance Inspector will ensure the proper functioning and compliance per the company's quality policy.

Responsibilities:

• Respect and apply the principles of GPP in relation to his position.

• Maintain procedures, instructions, forms and labels.

• Manage the traceability documents and constitute the manufacturing sheets of the batch files.

• Execution of internal audits.

• Participate in the implementation of new certification standards and the maintenance and improvement of standards already in place.

• Check documents and shipping containers against regulatory requirements and customer specifications

• Train employees on Health Canada standards for cannabis/GPP, employee hygiene and health and other standards.

• Ensure that all employees work according to the rules of hygiene, health and safety of personnel and develop a

• preventive attitude

• Supervise and accompany the representative of the firm mandated for the vermin control program.

• Ensure the maintenance, updates and monitoring of the plant's health and sanitation program and validate its

• effectiveness.

• Evaluate and update the environmental monitoring of the rooms.

• Perform operational inspections and corrective actions to be implemented.

• Actively contribute to the resolution of problems that arise in the plant.

• Participate in the drafting, review and approval of validation protocols and reports; offer recommendations.

• Be a resource person for sampling at different stages of the process.

• Inspect products for manufacturing, cleaning and/or packaging upon receipt and complete necessary forms.

• Inspect, sample and verify the quality of raw materials received.

• Perform quote requests (if required), obtain approvals from managers and make purchases for items used by

• quality assurance.

• Report all incidents and non-conformities to the Senior Control and Quality Assurance Director.

• Follow up on deviation reports, non-compliance and corrective actions.

• Perform archiving.

• Investigate and manage customer complaints and those made to suppliers.

• Perform any other related task assigned by the Senior Control and Quality Assurance Director.

Qualifications:

• At a minimum, have a DEC in a scientific field relevant to the task (biotechnology,

• chemistry, process technology and food quality)

• Have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the field of quality assurance

• Relevant experience in GMP/BPP (pharmaceutical, natural health products, food)

• Knowledge of different regulations (CFIA, Health Canada)

• Validation experience (IQ/OQ/PQ)

• Aptitude for office work and for work in the factory

• Good knowledge of the Office suite

• Ability to write and update procedures

• Performs in teamwork, resourceful, go-getter, interpersonal skills

• Sense of organization, being methodical, initiative and autonomy

• French (excellent oral and written) and English (oral and written functional)

Inspecteur assurance qualité (poste de jour ou de soir)

• Participer à la rédaction, la révision et à l'approbation des protocoles et rapports de validation; proposer des recommandations.

• Être une personne ressource pour l'échantillonnage à différentes étapes du procédé.

• Inspecter les produits pour la fabrication, le nettoyage et/ou l'emballage à la réception et remplir les formulaires nécessaires.

• Inspecter, échantillonner et vérifier la qualité des matières premières reçues.

• Effectuer les demandes de soumission (si requises), obtenir les approbations des directeurs et procéder aux achats pour les

• articles utilisés par l'assurance qualité.

• Faire rapport de tout incident et non-conformité au directeur senior contrôle et assurance qualité.

• Faire le suivi des rapports de déviation, non-conformité et des actions correctives.

• Effectuer l'archivage.

• Investiguer et gérer les plaintes clients et celles faites aux fournisseurs.

• Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe assignée par le directeur senior contrôle et assurance qualité.
