Position Overview:

Toronto’s best cannabis retailer is looking to build a team of energetic, personable, and knowledgeable Budtenders! As a Budtender on our team, you will provide a superior customer experience by offering exceptional service and your in-depth knowledge of our quality cannabis products. You will be responsible for continuous product knowledge, assessing customer needs, receiving, and stocking inventory, as well as maintaining a clean, welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

ü Welcome and assist customers with the selection of products by offering product knowledge and recommendations

ü Professionally and courteously respond to customer inquiries and feedback

ü Check and verify the ID of all individuals entering the store to ensure they are 19 years or older

ü Contribute to the successful achievement of company sales goals

ü Maintain your product knowledge and stay current with industry trends by committing to cannabis product research and testing

ü Perform opening and closing procedures efficiently and in accordance with hours of operation

ü Use the POS to accurately process orders and payments while adhering to all cash and loss prevention procedures

ü Participate in maintaining and ensuring the store is cleaned and organized

ü Assist with inventory management including ordering, receiving, documenting, and stocking all products as required

ü Comply and adhere to SLGA policies and regulations as well as company policies and procedures

ü Ensure the confidentiality of customer and company information

The Dispensary Associate's primary responsibility is to facilitate store operations to deliver best-in-class customer experience to our guests. Dispensary Associates support the management team and store by performing day-to-day tasks and procedures while abiding by policies, SOPs and operational guidelines. Dispensary Associates are responsible for guiding customers through their cannabis purchasing experience, making informed recommendations based on customer's desired outcomes, POS transactions, processing payments, cash handling, order fulfillment, inventory receiving, and other aspects of daily operations. Dispensary Associates must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, be upbeat and able to provide informed and accurate descriptions of our products, and operate with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
