About us

Smokey Point Productions (SPP) is one of the top cannabis producers in the state of Washington.

This position is responsible for in taking and preparing bulk material for extraction and for operating the extraction equipment under the direction of the Extraction Specialist while adhering to all safety guidelines, laws, rules, and company policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:

² Assist Compliance Tech with delivery intakes and organizing bulk storage

² Prepare bulk material for extraction by milling

² Assist Extraction Specialist with assembly, cleaning, packing and unloading extract runs

² Assist in cleaning and taking out waste

² Follow all directions from Extraction Specialist

² Adhere to all safety guidelines

² Maintain a clean and orderly workspace

² Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice

QUALIFICATIONS:

² Detail oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, accuracy, and sanitation

² Ability to work in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency in a team environment

² Proactive, self-motivated and hardworking

² Great communication and teamwork skills

² Inventory and materials management practices, principles and accuracy

² Excellent time management skills

² High School Diploma or Equivalent

² Must be able to stand on feet for 8 hours

² Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely

This position will be responsible for the technical and operational elements of new packaging and packaging functionality. This will include preparation of packaging requirements and associated execution of validation protocols, training and troubleshooting. Individuals who currently work for the OLCC will be given preference during the application review process.</p><p></p><p><b>Who are we?</b></p><p>The OLCC is the agency responsible for regulating the sale and service of alcoholic beverages, the production and sale of recreational marijuana, the tracking of Oregon Health Authority medical marijuana, and the tracking of industrial hemp products sold in OLCC retail stores. The agency is comprised of three major operational programs; the Distilled Spirits Program, the Marijuana Program, and the Public Safety Program. All three programs are supported by the Administration, Financial Services, and Support Services divisions. Revenue generated from these programs helps support state and local government programs.</p><p></p><p><b>What will you do?</b></p><p>You will ensure that qualified applicants receive marijuana licenses in a timely manner. To achieve this, the investigator conducts a background investigation and provides specialized training to the applicant. The investigator uses discretionary judgment to plan the scope and direction of investigations. Investigations include an analysis of the ownership, operation, management of the prospective business, the applicant's operating proposal, an analysis of the applicant's OLCC compliance history and business location (if previously licensed), and a recommendation on granting, restricting, or denying the license. The investigator trains and educates various audiences about statutes, administrative rules, policy, and licensing standards used to evaluate applications. Applications are often controversial and sensitive in nature because of widespread critical opinion about such issues as neighborhood impact, drug and alcohol problems, and organized crime.
