POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Tech provides on-site support for the production of

infused-products. The Production Tech completes tasks assigned by the Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the production area. The Production Tech maintains quality control measures to ensure
high-quality product and carries out day-to-day tasks, including preparing, measuring, mixing, baking,
and packaging.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

Two years’ experience in general production,
preferably a regulated field producing for human consumption. Also, any satisfactory combination of
experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the following duties:
Knowledge of medical cannabis law, medicinal benefits, and cooking skills. Effective time-management
skills and the ability to multitask. Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or product, up to 50 lbs.,
for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.

CORE JOB DUTIES:

1. Assists with tasks associated with production and packaging to maintain a compliant and clean facility.
2. Ensures compliance with all laws and regulations regarding packaging and processing.
3. Assists the Production Tech 2 and 3 in coordinating with the management team, to ensure that products are produced in a constant and consistent manner.

2. Manufacturing Operation:
1. Become familiar with all production equipment and processes as required
2. Assist employees in properly documenting all required information throughout all Production procedures.
3. Assist with inventory audits as required.

3. Safety and Security:
1. Maintain a continuous state of alertness to ensure the highest standards of safety for fellow employees, products, and the facility.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUIRED:

Assists with research, communications, or any other assigned projects/tasks.

JOB SKILLS:
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Accurate data entry and record keeping.
Experience with the ADP/POS system. Thorough understanding of medical cannabis policy and law.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Ability to make decisions, as
necessary, with oversight when needed.

The Processor will report to the Leads of Trim and Supervisor of Trim.</p><p>Essential Duties</p><p>Procedures &amp; Tasks</p><p>• Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by leadership to meet daily and weekly, individual and team production and quality standards.</p><p>• Execute the daily and weekly goals for harvesting plants in the Trim department. Processing the plants accordingly, separating bud material product, extraction material product, and unhealthy product consistently.</p><p>• Be prepared to change technique and instruction based on variables, R&amp;D codes, and plant attributes.</p><p>• Quality assurance review of product to be properly separated and processed.</p><p>• Assist associates to achieve team goals, and support the Advanced Processors with instructed requests.</p><p>• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following GMP certified procedures.</p><p>• Properly use equipment and supplies to maintain its integrity and longevity.</p><p>• Be prepared to execute tasks within the Processing department, along with assisting towards company and facility objectives.</p><p>• Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity. The ideal candidate will be driven, innovative, compassionate, believe in the goodness of people and cannabis, and enjoys the one team, one dream motto! The Production Technician is responsible for trimming, curing, and packing cannabis flower. This position reports directly to the Cultivation Manager.</p><p><b><i>Highlighted Responsibilities</i></b></p><ul><li>Assist with with all aspects of trimming from bucking wet harvests, to packing flower for mass transport, to detailed hand trimming.</li><li>Monitor drying rooms for optimal conditions.</li><li>Trim dried cannabis flowers using hand-trim and automated trimmer methods.</li><li>Break down fresh cannabis flowers from stems and separate useable product from unusable waste.</li><li>Track the amount of usable and unusable waste for each plant/batch via data tracking system.</li><li>Trim dried cannabis flowers using both hand-trim and automated trimmer methods.</li><li>Must be able to hand trim at least 2 oz./hour of dried flower, with attention to detail to create a high-quality product.</li><li>Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.</li><li>Trim staff is responsible for clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.</li><li>Weigh and package cured flowers, trim and other by-products for distribution to dispensaries and processing facilities.</li><li>Assist Cultivators with other duties around the cultivation site as directed.</li><li>Employee must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.</li><li>Employee must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.</li><li>Employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.</li><li>Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals.</li><li>Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.</li><li>Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by Vireo Health and the state while processing marijuana.</li></ul><p><b><i>Qualifications</i></b></p><ul><li>Must have a high school diploma</li><li>Experience working cannabis preferred</li><li>Proficiency with MS Office</li><li>Excellent communication skills, verbal and written</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly</li><li>Flexible availability (weekends may be required)</li><li>Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.</li></ul><p><b><i>EEO Statement</i></b></p><p><i>Vireo Health, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. </i><b><i>www.vireohealth.com</i></b></p></div></div>","company":{"companyType":"Private/Established","name":"Vireo Health Inc.","logoUrl":"/logos/vireo-health-125544955cfe8cdd68bc5cddd679f996.png"},"location":{"country":"United States","address":"Gallup, NM","city":"Gallup","stateProvince":"NM"},"frontendLink":"/job-posting/vireo-health-inc/production-technician/d556225927a7c4fcc9eef041573b0508","title":"Production Technician","hash":"d556225927a7c4fcc9eef041573b0508","postingUrl":"https://www.indeed.com/job/production-technician-61bb0774b2afa87d"}]
