General Job Description

Mindfully made cannabis! Searching for an experienced trim/packaging technician to share in our passion for delivering a great level of detail in processes in order to provide product consistency. Bring your positive and enthusiastic energy in joining likeminded individuals that make up a vital part of our production team. Key responsibilities for Trim/Packaging Technicians are to manicure finished flower, maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, accurately weigh & record data, organization, and report final product totals – most importantly, act as the Company’s last line of defense in quality control.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manually Manicure finished flower by removing excess leaves and stems from harvested cannabis, and separate unusable waste from usable product
  • Ensure consistent quality of product is to exact specifications of Company standards
  • Adjust trimming techniques to the changes of various strains as needed based on strain type to maintain quality and production goals
  • Identify areas of improvement and communicate to trim leader/supervisor
  • Follow all safety, compliance, and company rules
  • Maintains a safe and clean workstation by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Maintain a minimum of 1LB trimmed in an 10hr shift
  • Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance through visual inspections – ensuring all product meets/exceeds WIT’s specifications
  • Accurately weigh, and package bulk flower, quarters, eights, pre-rolls ect.
  • Label bulk and retail packages appropriately and compliantly
  • Top-off, tube and label pre-rolls
  • Ensure proper compliance is met at all times through efficient weighing, data recording, and product tracking throughout the entire packaging process
  • Work in an efficient manner and strive to increase productivity reaching/exceeding daily goals and production demand.
  • Execute tasks properly and efficiently
  • Maintain acceptable personal hygiene
  • Consistently on time for scheduled shifts

Education - Knowledge & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • No formal education is required
  • Strong passion for the industry
  • Good rapport with past employers
  • Knowledge of marijuana plant anatomy preferred
  • Trimming and packaging experience preferred
