Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to help expand our growing footprint into the Los Angeles area market. This position will be working remotely in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. We are looking for an individual able to work remotely and commute/promote to various locations throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas, our retail products and distribution services. Prior experience selling retail manufactured products within the cannabis industry is highly preferred.

This is a ground floor opportunity with a growing Southern California cannabis Distribution and Manufacturing company still emerging into the market.


  • Present clear knowledge of company products to sell to new and existing customers, and maintain passion for the industry
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
  • Identify target prospects and generate interest through email, social media, cold calling
  • Schedule sales meetings with retailers for sale of retail products, establishing a long-term client base

Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports

  • Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, market presence, etc.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the cannabis industry in general, noting key players, pivotal techniques, emerging trends and overall status of the industry
  • Supply management; communicate effectively inventory needs up supply chain
  • Weekly/ monthly reporting on KPIs, benchmarks, and sales pipeline
  • Meet and exceed company weekly and monthly metrics and KPI’s


  • Minimum 4 years of proven work experience as a sales representative
  • 2-5 years of successful B2B sales experience with an emphasis on acquiring new and developing existing customers accounts
  • Experienced cold call prospecting and exceptional follow-up and account management
  • in-depth understanding of cannabis extraction processes preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in cannabis sales is required
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and persuasive skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Google Drive, Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiar with CRM systems sales tracking and reporting
