This position will start in Warren but will move to Orion Township permanently as soon as the new facility is complete.

Responsibilities:

  • Commitment to continuous improvement; questions conventional approaches, suggests new ideas, and helps to implement new/updated processes.
  • Ensure effective inventory control over all incoming and stocked materials.
  • Receive, unpack, and stock materials.
  • Issue critical materials to the production department.
  • Participate in the cycle count process.
  • Respond to unplanned issues.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Special projects as needed.
  • Accurately maintain component inventory.
  • Process returned products.
  • Learn to recognize all products and how to inspect, repair, and care for them.
  • Learn proprietary technologies, processes, and workplace policies to achieve organizational objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated decision making & problem-solving; familiarity with lean principles
  • Proficient with MS Office; advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Demonstrated outstanding manual dexterity; must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Manage ambiguity; proven flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent reading, comprehension, and communication skills
  • Willingness to work extended hours and Saturdays in order to meet customer's needs
