What you will do

We are currently seeking an experienced and flexible Pharmacist Part-Time to join our growing dynamic team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing consulting services and dispensing medical cannabis to patients. This individual will be responsible for working alongside the healthcare team in a retail cannabis dispensary environment. This position reports directly to the Pharmacy Manager.

Highlighted Responsibilities

• Oversees dispensing of all cannabis-based medications from our Cannabis Patient Centers (CPC)

• Diligently maintains accurate medical cannabis inventory, including processing returns and removal of outdated products from the CPC inventory.

• Provides direct patient care by conducting [virtual/live/telephone] consultations with approved medical cannabis patients

• Makes clinical decisions regarding which product(s) in our formulary spectrum to recommend based on a patient's qualifying condition and other factors.

• Monitors patients' drug therapies and qualifying medical condition(s) in utilizing the Minnesota Department of Health registry.

• Completes CPC operational requirements by organizing and directing technician work flow, verifying and labeling medications, and verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.

• Addresses questions from providers, patients, and the community.

• Complies with all state regulations and provides oversight for overall CPC compliance.

• Participates in record keeping and reporting necessary for State compliance.

• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Remains current on cannabis-based pharmacological knowledge.

• Educates and shares cannabis-based medication knowledge with the broader CPC team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the State of Minnesota.

• Preferred experience in both clinical and retail settings with emphasis on customer service.

• Preferred additional training in Cannabis Based Medicine.

• Available to work a flexible schedule of days, nights and weekends.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Maintains and safeguards entrusted confidential information.

• Proficiency in MS office and other required software.

• Ability to meet assigned deadline.

• Ability to assist and mentor new hires/PharmD students..

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to communicate effectively with patients, families, co-workers and medical professionals.

• Prompt attendance to shifts and responsible time management.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

• Ability to function independently and proactively.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to understand, support, and implement organizational policies/procedures and state regulations

This position is responsible for all sales activity, remaining knowledgeable on products, assessing customer needs, helping, and maintaining selling floor presentations and stock.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p>Sales Associate</p><p>• Welcome and assist all customers that visit the store</p><p>• Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns</p><p>• Educate customers about why we do what we do and about our products</p><p>• Process payments with POS and computer systems</p><p>• Open and close the store accurately and on time</p><p>• Accurately re-stocking retail inventory</p><p>• Bring a positive attitude and high energy to work everyday!</p><p>• Staying up to date on offers and specials</p><p>• Responding to guest inquiries with comprehensive knowledge and accuracy</p><p>• Receiving and documenting inventory accurately</p><p>• Admin duties as assigned</p><p>• Maintaining sales goals on a daily and weekly basis</p><p>• Closing and completing all end of day reports and procedures</p><p>• Ensure store is clean and tidy</p><p>• Other duties as assigned</p><p>Age Gater</p><p>• Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19, by reviewing government issued photo identification to validate permission to enter</p><p>• Assist in traffic flow management</p><p>• Protect company’s staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment</p><p>• Foster a sense of teamwork will all team members</p><p>• Ensure the security of all company product at all times</p><p>• Adhere to and uphold Tweed’s Loss Prevention systems to prevent all possible opportunities</p><p>• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and communicate any disturbances.</p><p>• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences</p><p>• Report in detail any suspicious incidents</p><p>• Other duties as assigned Experience</p><p>• Previous retail or customer service experience; cannabis sales experience preferred</p><p>• Be at least 19 years of age</p><p>• Polished professional with excellent communication and organizational skills</p><p>• Works well with others, alone and with little supervision</p><p>• Knowledge of/ability to learn about cannabis plants, strains, products</p><p>• Strong attention to detail</p><p>• Positive attitude and charisma</p><p>• Ensure a high level of customer interaction, suggestive selling and enthusiasm</p><p>• Energetic and highly determined</p><p>• Working knowledge of Medical and/or Retail Cannabis an asset</p><p>• Proficiency in MS office products and POS (cashier) systems</p><p><b>Employee Standard Requirements: Requirements - At a minimum:</b></p><p>• Must be 19+</p><p>• All applicants must obtain criminal background checks as part of the hiring process</p><p>• All employees understand their obligations with respect to applicable laws, regulations, standards, and policies</p><p>• All employees have completed any required training to work in Cannabis retail prior to application (Cansell)</p><p><b>Other Details</b></p><p>This position based out of Ajax, Ontario.
