We are seeking to fill a role in the production, fulfillment, and packaging of hemp products at our production laboratory in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a rare opportunity to work in the emerging and fast-paced environment of hemp refinement with a company that is uniquely positioned in the space.

Job Description:

As a Laboratory Technician, you will work closely with the Chief Scientist and the operations team. Responsibilities of this role include assisting in all aspects of production, such as:

  • Reliably follow SOPs to repeatably and efficiently manufacture a high-quality product.
  • Maintain an organized and clean laboratory environment.
  • Operating analytical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain records of supplies, materials, inventory, and equipment.
  • Assist in supply chain research, procurement, and other related areas.

Skill Requirements:

  • Willingness to follow SOPs in detail and ability to provide feedback on their improvement.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s of Science or higher education level preferred.
  • Prior cGMP, ISO, or equivalent certified production experience preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in a comparable manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient math and computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to operate, inspect, and repair various types of equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly and more on occasion.

Compensation

  • Part-time contract of 30 hours per week but can build to full-time.
  • Compensation based on experience.
  • Must be available to work off hours/ nights & weekends.
